They can rebuild me, they have the technology...

Here a few of the tame pics from my surgery.  Not sure everyone wants to see the really cool ones that might make the squeamish cringe.
The surgeon before the disc goes in.  The thumbs up is crucial to proper placement ;)

A couple close ups of the disc.

My disc in its new home, my spine.  They got some great photos.  If you ask me, I think they would look great in the brochure.
Mr. Boeree taking the time to walk through the pictures and explain to me what was happening in each one.  This was the morning after the surgery.  Seriously, what kind of surgeon would take the time to do this?  Answer: a good one who cares about his patients.

  5. Hi, I just happened to be doing some research and fell upon your page. I have bone spurs, disk protrusion and disk degeneration at my L5/S1 disk and it's very painful. Therapy hasn't helped and epidural injections aren't helping.
What i think will help me is putting in a new disk because the vertibre looks like there sitting on top of each other, but hard to tell where the pain is coming from.
I will view your pictures, but i am very torn.
I will meet with my doctor within a few weeks to discuss my options.
Good luck and get well soon.

  6. Good luck on your decision. I know most docs won't recommend ADR if the disc has been fully collapsed for a long time, or the facet joints are in bad shape or fused. I highly recommend a consult with Mr. Boeree as he would be able to assess your particular situation, it is definitely worth the cost.
